Founded in 2013 by Michele Spadavecchia, Asta Design Group was built on the belief that exceptional interiors should do more than look beautiful…they should enrich the way people live, work, heal, and connect.

As an award-winning boutique interior design studio, we specialize in luxury healthcare, wellness, hospitality, commercial environments, and thoughtfully designed residences. Every project begins with a deep understanding of our client's vision, goals, and the people who will experience the space. We believe that great design is equal parts creativity, strategy, and purpose.

Our aesthetic is refined, timeless, and rooted in wellness. Through the thoughtful use of natural materials, tactile textures, layered lighting, and carefully considered space planning, we create environments that feel welcoming, calming, and effortlessly functional. MICHELE SPADAVECCHIA

Known for her collaborative and highly personalized approach, Michele partners closely with business owners, medical professionals, developers, and homeowners to create environments that are both visually compelling and purposefully functional. Inspired by wellness-centered design principles, she thoughtfully incorporates natural materials, layered textures, and calming palettes to create spaces that build trust, encourage connection, and elevate the everyday experience.

Committed to remaining at the forefront of the profession, Michele regularly attends national design exhibitions, continuing education programs, and manufacturer training to stay current on innovations in furnishings, lighting, flooring, wall coverings, fabrics, appliances, and emerging building technologies. Builders, contractors, manufacturers, and trade partners recognize her for her technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, organized construction documentation, and collaborative communication throughout every phase of a project.

As a mother of three young adults, Michele understands that every environment should thoughtfully support the people who use it. Whether designing a medical practice, wellness destination, hospitality venue, or luxury residence, her goal remains the same, to create timeless interiors that are refined, functional, restorative, distinctly personal, all whilst visually captivating.

For Michele Spadavecchia, interior design has always been more than a profession, it has been a lifelong passion. As a child, she spent countless hours sketching furniture, designing homes, and instinctively arranging rooms long before she knew the term space planning. After briefly studying accounting at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Michele followed her passion and enrolled at the prestigious New York School of Interior Design (NYSID), where she discovered the perfect balance of creativity, technical expertise, and purposeful design.

Michele began her career at a New York City design firm before working alongside respected New Jersey designers, gaining valuable experience across residential and commercial projects. In 2013, she founded what is known today as Asta Design Group.

Today, Michele leads the award-winning Asta Design Group, a boutique interior design studio specializing in large-scale healthcare facilities, hospitality, wellness, full-scale home renovations, and new construction. Her work has been recognized with the International Design Discovery Silver Award, reflecting her commitment to innovative design and exceptional client experiences.

DONNA ROES

director of branding and marketing

As the Director of Branding and Marketing at Asta Design Group, Donna Roes is the architect of the firm’s visual identity. With over a year of experience at Asta and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Rutgers University, she bridges the gap between high-end interior design and luxury digital storytelling.

Donna’s role spans both creative production and strategic execution. Beyond mastering the "impossible" edit—fine-tuning photography and visuals to reflect Asta Design Group’s serene aesthetic—she drives the firm’s complete media presence. She leads content creation across social media, dynamic Reels, and email newsletters, while maintaining the digital portfolio, designing client presentation decks, and crafting custom print materials. Uniquely positioned at the intersection of marketing and design, Donna frequently collaborates directly on spatial projects as well. Leveraging her passion for interiors, she builds detailed floor plans, 3D renders, and visual mockups to ensure design intent is seamlessly translated from concept to presentation.

When she isn't refining the firm’s marketing strategy or perfecting a photograph, you can find her exploring the local culinary scene, always on the hunt for the next transformative dining experience or hidden-gem cafe.

JENNIFER MEYER

Jennifer Meyer’s path to interior design is driven by passion, practical expertise, and a relentless creative drive. Guided by an innate eye for space and structure, Jennifer brings a dynamic perspective to Asta Design Group’s interior design team.

With a background as a licensed real estate professional, Jennifer possesses a deep understanding of spatial flow, architectural potential, and property value. Her keen visual instinct, which is further honed by her passion for high-speed sports photography, allows her to layer textures, light, and form with exacting precision. Dedicated to staying ahead of design trends, Jennifer approaches every space with curiosity and drive, curating bespoke interiors that feel both effortless and deeply refined.

John Spadavecchia Jr. serves as the operational backbone of the firm's client projects, bringing an analytical edge to luxury design management.

Holding an MBA in Finance from Quinnipiac University, John transforms complex, high-caliber design visions into flawlessly executed realities. He is dedicated to keeping every phase of the design pipeline thoughtfully structured, financially sound, and seamlessly managed, providing clients with an effortless experience and total peace of mind.
